Well, Winter’s here. I must admit it’s a beautiful Winter also…but the Ohio River finally got blowed out which put a damper on the Sauger fishing! We’re in between Thanksgiving and Christmas with 3 inches of snow on the ground. Now what?
Well, throughout the year as my fishing partner and I enjoy life fishing we manage to save some nice photos from time to time. Chad and I both enjoy all types of fishing and that’s what prompted me to write and share on this Blog. We try to do a little bit of everything with all species of fish as Mother Nature and Father God permits.
The following photo was some nice Spring action in a local pond that produced some nice Crappie and Bluegill action while Dad was at work. Of course Chad saved this photo just to remind Dad of what happens in these little ponds with the ultra light rod and reel, 4 lb. test line, and a 1/32 oz. jighead with a little tube on it.
Chad is a cement man so he loves his “rain days off” pursuing Crappie and Bluegill in local ponds and lakes while enjoying life fishing, in Southwestern Ohio. 85 fish on the stringer! M-m-m-m-m we love to eat Crappie and Bluegill especially in the Spring when the fillets are nice and firm.
Thanks for stopping by our Southwestern Ohio Fishing Blog. Come back from time to time as we keep this site updated with good fresh material.
More Ohio River Sauger action in weeks to come as Mother Nature and Father God permits. Don’t forget about the Good Lord who makes all things possible for us in life. Enjoy life fishing! Come back and see us. God Bless.
