I love the beauties of Spring but I hate to much rain. In Clermont County we have way to much rain this year. Good for the Flowering Crabs. Bad for the fishing conditions. Meldahl Dam Sauger action is probably over until Fall. The River was 45 feet the last time I looked.
Crappies were on fire last week at East Fork Lake. Now East Fork Lake is blowed out. Chad and I were there Sunday. Muddy and high. Crappies were tough for us; however there were fish to be caught. Two Crappie tournaments this past weekend. Two more tournaments this weekend coming.
While old Dad is slaving at work this week Chad is hitting some of the local ponds and lakes. He brought home two real nice stringers of fish the past two evenings. 30-40 Crappie, Bluegill, and bass. The rain doesn’t stop Chad.
When the Sun does find its way back through the rain and the River settles, and East fork clears…Bass fishing will be on! Flowering Crabs and Crappie slabs until then! God Bless! Enjoy Mother Nature and don’t forget about Father God!
Thanks for stopping by Southwestern Ohio fishing…from Chad and Dad. We had 80 viewers Monday. All time high. Spread the word! More good stuff coming from Southwestern Ohio Fishing.
P.S…Attention Musky hunters! Chad caught a little 16″ Musky last week at East Fork Lake. Good sign as those little 9-11 inchers have grown to this size over the Winter.
