Chad and Dad had a great time Saturday and Sunday! Bassin on the Ohio River. The water was clear and 73 degrees. Mother nature cooperated as we made the hunt for Bass. Rare day because Chad and I haven’t been fishing much this Fall. Girlfriend! You know how that goes!
As we enjoyed quality time fishing for two days we managed to catch Small-mouth Bass, a few Kentucky Spotted Bass….and mostly Large-mouth Bass. White Bass are starting their usual Fall pattern in the River. Of course I caught a big Drum too.
We cranked (and yanked), fished top-water (Chad’s specialty), spinner-bait )
Dad’s specialty), and the usual methods of rubber as we caught sparse fish. The Ohio River (Fall pattern) offers great Bass Fishing this time of the year “if” the weather permits. Chad and Dad are usually Musky fishing this time of the year but this year we changed up. It paid off too! We caught some real nice Bass – a couple of fours and several others real good size.
We fished Saturday evening and Sunday morning. Two different worlds as the water level and conditions changed overnight. We caught Bass both trips and had lots of fun on the Ohio River. We love it! We love Musky fishing too – but Bassin on the Ohio River (in the Fall) is hard to beat.
The Ohio River is so beautiful! Autumn on the Ohio River is beautiful also – but most of all quality time with my fishing partner Chad is what makes it best!
Thanks for stopping by Southwestern Ohio fishing Blog and enjoying life with Chad and Dad. We enjoy life and enjoy sharing life with you. God Bless. Respect Mother Nature and don’t forget about Father God.
