Late October brings in great Crappie fishing but also terrible weather. The past couple of days -very, very windy – in the 60’s.
Windy days are discouraging for many fishermen but “fish” are very aggressive and catch-able on these type of days.
Chad (bank-fishing) had back to back limits under these conditions- two days in a row. Day one was a limit of Crappie. Day two was a limit of Bluegill.
The strong wind and huge lake rollers didn’t stop my fishing partner from bank-fishing. He loves it! So you know what the Roehm family has been eating. Bluegills are the “Best”/
Can’t write without mentioning the Toe-nail Moon in October . These type of moon conditions always reap dividends for Chad and Dad. Love to recognize Mother Nature and Father God too.
That’s the late October report…from East Fork Lake the Crappie Capital of Ohio.
